Mountain Valley Bar & Restaurant

Situated in the central lodge overlooking the river, and boasting what we believe is the largest deck in Hawke's Bay, Mountain Valley's restaurant and bar is a spectacular setting in which to wind down and enjoy a drink or a hearty meal with some local Hawke's Bay wine.

In the restaurant we offer full or continental breakfasts, packed or cooked lunches, and a tasty and filling hot meal for dinner. A little like a ski lodge, meals are restaurant style or casual takeaways and you choose your own table in the restaurant area or on the deck.

The bar includes a new lounge area with air conditioning in the hot summer months or a convivial wood burner for those winter chills. Sofas and armchairs are at one end, with sociable leaners and bar stools around the bar itself. On offer are a variety of bottled beers and ready to drink cocktails, plus Hawke's Bay wines, spirits and snacks.

Our in-house catering team also provides special menus for group, corporate and wedding bookings designed to provide the perfect social occasion in our riverside paradise.

Please Note: Our bar & restaurant is open on a daily basis when we have guests staying however if you would like an evening meal from our A-La-Carte Menu we ask that you book by 4pm on the day to ensure we are prepared for you.  If you have special dietry requirements you will need to notify us at least 24 hours prior to arrival.
